The book fair at Angouleme is getting closer, time to reveal another secret of the " Ria-The Lightclan Chronicles" production. Tonight we will present you the look of our second volume: " Power of the Seal ".
Fabian Schlaga and Thorsten Kiecker will be on their way to a signing at Paris for the French release of Vol.1 by Tuesday and even so will signing at the booth of Paquet at the Angouleme book fair. If you are around there, come by and get your own copy of the French edition signed.

Nach einem phenomenalen Wochenende bei der Comicmesse in Erlangen, wo Stenarts Erstveröffentlichung, "Ria - Same der Hoffnung" den Massen vorgestellt wurde, gönnt sich das Team keine Ruhe -Produktion auf des zweiten Bandes der Lichtklan Chroniken "Die Macht des Siegels" soll innerhalb der nächsten paar Wochen anfangen.

Concept Art For Pitch

We thought we should show some of the character concepts to give you an impression of the work which has been invested. Carlos Ancot had been working on this Pitch Title for the Berlin based Game Developer Company Radon Labs GmbH.

Stone Age Kings - Awards and Updates

Stenarts' collaboration with Gorilla Gaming GmbH is already showing dividend results.
The game Stone Age Kings has won awards in the 2009 Browser Game of the Year, in the categories Story (setting, idea, background) and Strategy (strategic or tactical games requiring decision-making skills). Check it out at http://browsergameoftheyear.com/

We've also been working on fine-tuning the look of the village and the Stone Age realm, so now you can observe how your buildings are built up over time, all while the seasons take their turn.

Stoneage Kings Browsergame Design

Recently, Stenarts was working on a complete design package for the new browser game from Gorilla Gaming GmbH. We created imagery for creatures and characters, backgrounds, buildings and over 100 icons as well as offering design consulting and service for animation.

Concept Art for Radon Labs new RPG Title

Stenarts is currently working on Concept Art for a brand new multiplatform action RPG game.
Under the supervision of Bernd Beyreuther and Art Director Marcus Koch of Radon Labs, (Makers of "Drakensang") our lead concept artist Carlos Ancot is creating on new visual concepts for the comical medieval adventure.
We are rapt to be working with Radon Labs on such an interesting title and are happy to be able to show some first tidbits of the development process here.

Stenarts Artbook 2009

After all the different Projects we had been working on a huge bunch of artwork had been produced from initial sketches up to oversized Concept Art paintings. It would be a pity to leave those at the shelves and so we decided to produce an Artbook of all that nice artwork.

We will update next week the progress on this book as we are already discussed the way of printing with our partner 15 Grad and so it wont take long to update with the final number of pages and the price for the book.

Pimp your Studio!

After starting the Stenarts Ltd. last year, it was time to give the studio a fresh new look, incorporating the style of our logo with a retro touch and all rounded edges. The Atelier Kiecker also got a new paint job in tan/beige.
